LeWeb 2011 announces the decline of the Web

In Paris, the conference «LeWeb» beated its own record of attendance, increased by 50%. This success is the evidence of the deep awareness of the paradigm shift in business. However, ads or media agencies are still missing from all these events, although they are significant enough for French President Nicolas Sarkozy to receive the speakers at the Elysee!

This large attendance made the event a little more mainstream, but a couple of conferences stood out by providing reflexion or case studies of very high quality.

If you just had to remember one thing of LeWeb, it is the decline of the Web… Indeed, look at the statistics of mobile sites that you manage, and you will see that the internet is exploding, but the web decreases.

Here is my best of to understand it better:

George Colony, Forrester Research “Three Social Thunderstorms”

Jeremiah Owyang, Altimeter Group “State of Social Business”

Deb Roy, Bluefin Labs Connecting TV to the social web

Ramon de Leon, Social Media Marketing, Domino’s Pizza
