Unique set of brand-specific icons
Enigma was contacted by United Security Providers (USP) to design a unique set of brand-specific icons.
United Security Providers (USP) is the leading specialist for information security. Enigma was commissioned to design a unique set of icons that help to maintain all the brand’s features and USP’s activities in symbols.
Transversal branding symbols
The creation of the branding iconography was based on a detail-oriented study of USP’s branding system and their historical development. The different levels of complexity and emotions were defined with the goal of presenting the brand’s history in just one visual element.
Like the USP logo, all icons have a circle-based structure. This idea adds a different facet to the optimization of transversal branding. As a client-oriented solution, these icons had to fit into existing tools used by USP’s employees, giving them the opportunity to create presentations with the newly designed icon material.
The brand icon set is built out of 26 different unique icons, which represent the products and services provided by USP.
Enigma also designed a visual system that helps to create infographics. This visual pool consists of five basic infographics, which were designed by Enigma’s art directors. The tool was completed by adding a rule set and elements that are reusable.
The brand icons are used on the new USP website. Advertising material and presentations speak a common visual language, which reaffirms the brands identity and helps to strengthen the brand in a practical way.
